Hundreds of people paid an emotional tribute to those who were murdered in the Orlando shooting.
Groups of all ages congregated in Keel Square, Sunderland, last night for the vigil.
It honoured the 49 people who were shot dead in the gay nightclub, Pulse, in the early hours of last Sunday morning.
