5. Fertilizer

6. Laurels
All parts of the cherry laurel shrub are toxic to pets, but the leaves and seeds contain the highest concentration of harmful substances. Signs and symptoms of cherry laurel poisoning are salivation, inflammation of the mucous membrane, intestine and stomach issues, respiratory paralysis/breathing difficulties. | cm

7. Tulips

8. Spring crocus
These flower in spring and are said to be of low toxicity and may only cause a mild stomach upset if eaten. These bulbs are not to be confused with autumn crocus, which flower in autumn and can cause severe stomach upset, kidney and liver problems and bone marrow depression. | Steve Riding
