What they do
A CDT (Clinical Dental Technician) is a dental professional qualified to carry out the clinical aspect of denture construction as well as the technical aspect.
One of the practice’s key strengths is this in-house expertise, which allows them to carry out a wider range of treatments without the need to out-source – this saves time, money and avoids any risk of confusion between the dentist and technician.
The Clinical Dental Technician can take impressions, and carry out all other clinical procedures associated with denture construction and then make and fit the finished denture– this is a fast, seamless process – it all adds up to less stress for patients too, as they are looked after by the one, cohesive team. They can also make crowns, bridges and implants, all designed to the precise requirements dictated by the qualified dentist.
Colin says the laboratory is the largest independent in the area and was the first in the UK to be ISO quality standard registered – with he and Mark’s 50 years’ plus experience, you are in safe hands with the CDT team.
