Sunderland Greyhound Stadium is hosting its first ever “Fund£Racer” event on Thursday July 14 - giving two local charities the opportunity to raise vital funds.
The Stadium is donating 100 ticket packages, worth £8 each, to the South Shields-based Charlie and Carter Foundation (CCF), which provides financial support to parents of seriously ill children, and Sunderland’s Grace house, which provide respite services to disabled youngsters.
Sunderland Greyhound Stadium general manager, Joanne Wilson, said: “Fund£Racers provide a wonderful opportunity to bring supporters of an organisation together to enjoy a great social evening at the dogs, whilst raising valuable funds.
"We are so pleased to be working together with a number of local charities and sports clubs to make this event a success.”
