Hide AdTarts and Traybakes founder Nicola only started the business during lockdown after losing her job in aviation and said the box was designed to be a present for a dad who is hard to buy for.
“I know myself for my own father, he can be a pain to buy a present for as he has just about everything, but he loves his food and drink and I have designed this afternoon tea with fathers out there in mind.
"It is all home made and we hope it appeals to the male market. Often afternoon teas are not associated with men, but we hope to change the outlook on this with the Gentleman’s Box. I don’t think we have seen anything quite like it before.”
The contents include 2 Yorkshire pudding pinwheel wraps, a steak and ale pie, a curried sausage roll, a cheese and wild garlic scone, beer brownie and a Mexican chocolate cupcake.
