They opened Chilli Mangoes as a takeaway during lockdown, and now it’s a full sit-in restaurant too, offering the packed flavours and fun they are famous for, and so much more for discerning customers who love South Indian food.

What to expect?

Flavour, of course, and lots of it! The huge menu is packed with South Indian street food, with all your favourite dishes, sides and snacks. From street roasts and tandoori grills to delicious breads, paneers, kormas and more, if you like your food to pack a punch, this is the place for you.

And a night out with friends at over Christmas and the New Year often needs a little sparkle or fizz … ask them about their huge range of cocktails, the gin bar and more.

Where and when is it open?

You can find them at 11-12 Tavistock Pl, Basement Restaurant, Sunderland SR1 1PB and they are open seven days a week for both sit in and takeaway.

Ordering online is easy, fast and convenient, and the full menu is available for takeaway orders, delivered straight to your door.
