Stack Seaburn reopening - how to book for food and drink when beer gardens reopen on April 12
People have been wanting to flock back to Stack since the shipping container village had to close to sit-in custom last November.
Now, after the Government announced its roadmap to lead the country out of Lockdown, the popular seafront venue has announced when it’s opening bookings for people to return.
Although Stack, which houses a mix of street food traders, bars and live entertainment, was designed to be a walk-in venue, after the pandemic it had to open with a booking system in place to help with social distancing.
In line with the easing of restrictions, the outdoor venue will reopen to the public from April 12 with a return to bookings.
People will be able to sit in at Stack for food and drink within rule of six or two households.
The venue will open bookings from 4pm on Wednesday, March 3, for a fortnight beginning April 12. Bookings will then be released in blocks after that.
They will not be taking bookings over social media.
Stack opened last summer as part the wider seafront regeneration scheme, which will see other additions to Roker and Seaburn in the coming months, including the opening of The Seaburn Inn Hotel, a seafood restaurant on the promenade at Seaburn and the opening of a new gin bar in a former toilet block in Roker.
A number of other pubs will be reopening their outdoor spaces from April 12, including The Terrace in Green Terrace, The Stackyard in Deptford and Poetic License in Roker.
