It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Sunderland as lights are switched on across the city.

The Pallion Christmas lights were switched on by Tanya Brown, on behalf of the trust she launched in the name of her son Connor, who was sadly killed on a night out in Sunderland in 2019.
