Wonderful fun at the Washington Wetland Centre - but were you pictured there in years gone by?

Washington Wetland Centre will be teeming with wildlife at half term as well as loads of visitors.

But we are making sure you are teeming with memories of the fun you had there in the past.

So why not flock forward with your own recollections after you have taken a good look through these images from the Sunderland Echo archives.

The centre is bouncing back from lockdown and here’s what you can expect on a visit to the fantastic venue.

1. Now that's Oz-some!

2. Dipping into the archives

Pond dipping was one of the activities on offer at the centre in 2004 and Zoe Phillips and Jack Oughton joined education assistant Jacqueline Vickerage to have a go. Photo: PB
