13. John Lydon and PiL, Split Festival, Ashbrooke Sports Club, September, 2012
One of the biggest characters in music, John Lydon, aka Johnny Rotten, played Split Festival at its original base at Ashbrooke Sports Club with band Public Image Ltd in September 2012 and proved a hit with the crowds who packed the marquee to see him. 14. Boomtown Rats, Kubix Festival, Herrington Country Park, August 2018
Summer 2018 saw the arrival of a new festival to Herrington Country Park, Kubix Festival. The first year saw Buzzcocks join Adam Ant The Boomtown Rats Fun Lovin' Criminals Peter Hook & The Light The Undertones, The Blockheads and more.
