Most of us love a good book at Christmas but which was the store you loved to buy them from?

Was it Hills which was a High Street favourite for decades before its closure in the early 2000s.

The shop certainly had Christmas connections.

It was opened on Christmas Eve in 1852 and, in more recent years, it was the shop where children would dash to so that they could spend their Christmas vouchers.

Why not re-live the memories of the store which inspired so many creative minds.
