. Brogans
Here is a photo of Brogans in 2005. Back in 2018 when we featured the pub plenty of you commented. Kyle Gibson said it was "class. Used to go for a pint after work on a Friday and dance the soles off me flossys on a saturday." Helen Bell "Loved this place" and Clair Maidens recalled: "Lots of good memories in here. 1. Brogans
Here is a photo of Brogans in 2005. Back in 2018 when we featured the pub plenty of you commented. Kyle Gibson said it was "class. 2. The Grindon Mill
A Chester Road favourite. In 2019, Pam Broadbent commented: "Loved the Grindon Mill, great friendly atmosphere" and John Hall aid: "Yep many great times in the mill." Photo: DA
3. The Continental
Here is a view of the Continental in 1982. Wearside Echoes follower Bernard Joseph Gordon said: "Back in the day, with new suit from Weaver to Wearer and winkle pickers shoes, my favourite pub, loved it, oh happy days."
