All these photographs of staff and customers going about their daily business was put together by Mica Mota, a Sunderland University graduate from Portugal.
And today he has shared his work with the Echo.
Mica told us: “During my studies we had to do an in site specific exhibition. I've chosen to work with Jackie Whites Market, as I like to support local and family businesses and the market reminded me of home.”
