9. Pallion
Okay, so it's not a street name. But Pallion's origins are just as interesting. Phil explains: "Lord of Dalden once owned a summer residence in the area we know today as Pallion. It was desribed as 'Le Pavylion' in the early fourteenth century but by 1408 the name had been changed to 'Pavillion'. It seems that with the passing of time the name was eventually changed to 'Pallion'.
