8. On a festive parade
Santa Claus and Buzby, the Post Office TV advertisement character, came to Sunderland when they took part in a parade through the town, ending up with Santa taking "residence" in Binns store toy department. Were you there for the Santa parade in 1978? Photo: Sunderland Echo
