What a hit it was! The Sunderland Skipping Festival has returned and this year’s event was a huge success.

More than 1,000 children took part from Biddick, Hylton Castle, Shiney Row and Marlborough Primary schools along with Oxclose Primary and Plains Farm academies.

But who remembers these great photos from the festival in previous years?
