Six moving photos of Seaham's Tommy statue and Penshaw Monument lit up for Armistice Day in Sunderland

As Sunderland pays its respects on Armistice Day, November 11, Penshaw Monument has been lit up in red.

It’s been captured in camera in these beautiful images – and so has the famous Tommy statue in Seaham.

Today Sunderland honours those who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.
