Invisalign braces for adults: Where to get them fitted in Sunderland and how long does the process take?

What is Invisalign?
It’s a high tech system which gently moves your own teeth back into a natural, smooth curve, straightening ‘snaggle teeth’ or minimising gaps. A mould is made of your own teeth, using 3D technology to digitally map the placement of your teeth and predict movement accurately.
How does it work?
Patients wear a see-through Invisalign guard 24/7 as it gently manoeuvres their teeth back to where they should be. It’s much more comfortable than traditional braces – using laser technology to gently nestle it along your own natural gum line – and less obvious or intrusive, so adults generally find it a much more appealing process.
What is the process at City Dental?
You meet with the clinician in person, as you outline the issue you want corrected and the look you are hoping to achieve. A digital scan maps your mouth and offers a digitised impression of the results you might expect. Your aligners are then tailor-made for you, and are fitted expertly to ensure they are comfortable. You will have regular follow-up appointments to monitor progress and adjust where necessary.

How long will it take?
Invisalign is faster than traditional braces, so depending on the severity of the correction required, you may find your smile is restored as you wish more quickly than you expect.
