Yesterday (Friday, March 20) Prime Minister Boris Johnson told the nation's cafe, restaurant, pubs, leisure centres, gyms and nightclubs to close and not reopen.
It comes as NHS England announced 177 people have died after testing positive coronavirus, including three deaths in the North East.
Public Health England has also confirmed five people in Sunderland have tested positive for Covid-19 and there are 71 cases in the North East region.
