Experienced nurse opens new community care clinic
‘I want to make healthcare support as accessible as possible.’
A community care provider has opened a new clinic to provide support to vulnerable people.
Quality + Care Solutions has moved into a building in Seaside Lane, Easington Colliery, and received support from Durham Business Group to refurbish part of the building.
In recent months the building has been transformed into a healthcare clinic with offices and reception area.
Quality + Care Solutions founder Ebba Ushe is launching a private and out-of-hours healthcare clinic with plans to expand, offering patients a comprehensive range of services.
Ebba is a fully qualified nurse who has worked for the NHS, care homes, operating theatres and the criminal justice systems in England and Scotland
She said: “I want to make healthcare support as accessible as possible, particularly for vulnerable individuals who are no longer under the remit of the NHS but aren’t fully recovered and no longer need acute care.

“I will be offering medical treatments utilising my skills and experience as a nurse, which I hope will give people access to a range of services in a way that works for them, for example on an evening or weekend around their work and family commitments.
“My aim is to provide a full suite of medical services specifically catered for people who need additional help but are desperate to retain their independence, or those who might have a niggling injury or condition that requires treatment but would prefer an appointment that fits around their lifestyle.”
Ebba is supported by a team of carers, nurses and community healthcare staff who care for vulnerable people across County Durham.
