Daccs say all social distancing, sanitising and health and safety guidelines have been adhered to but they ‘cannot control’ what happens outside of the salon.

And after what they described as ‘sleepless nights and conflicting advice,’ a decision was made to close for a fortnight in an attempt to maintain customer and staff safety.

In a Facebook update on Friday, September 11, Daccs posted: “As always the safety and well-being of our amazing Team and beautiful clients is of utmost priority.

"After sleepless nights and conflicting advice we have made the very difficult decision to close for two weeks as of yesterday.

"We are very aware of how sad this is for both staff and clients but feel it is the right decision in these very unprecedented times.

“Thank you everyone for your continued support and loyalty.”

The salon is set to reopen on Friday, September 25 and is in the process of contacting customers regarding appointments due to take place over the next fortnight that will now have to be cancelled.
