Protein Superstore giving away FREE toilet paper to the vulnerable, elderly and struggling families

The coronavirus outbreak has led to panic buying and one of the first things to sell out of most stores across the UK alongside hand sanitizer was toilet paper.
Some people have even started selling loo roll on eBay for more than £30 a pack.

Hide AdIn response North East business Protein Superstore has decided to giveaway free toilet paper to elderly, vulnerable and struggling families.

With four stores located in Sunderland, Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough customers will be able to visit them from Thursday, March 19 and pick up toilet paper for free.
Business owner, Adam Davidson said: “It one of the products we’ve been asked most about.
“We had one young lady come in the store the other day and try to get some for her elderly grandparents and she said that stores were charging £6 for a pack of four and that’s just extortionate.”

Hide AdAdam explained that the idea was one of his business partners, the group of them having agreed on the idea to give toilet paper away for free, bought out the stock of a local supplier and have now distributed packs among all four stores.

Adam continued: “It’s important to us that people who need it are able to get it, people in the community supported us so much when we first started out and now we want to help them.
“We help people every day with their health needs and we want to be able to help them every day of their lives, that’s not going to stop, and if people had needed another product we could have found a way to get it to them – it just so happens that there is a genuine need for toilet paper.
“We want people to know that we are here if they are struggling.”
