Academy 360 announces partial closure - but stresses there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus at school

In an announcement made via its Twitter account on Tuesday, March 17, Academy 360 said it was partially closing the school from Wednesday – but stressed that there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Hide AdThe school will remain open for pupils from Year 5, 6, 10 and 11 with parents reassured that “pupils will follow their normal timetable and continue to receive specialist teaching in school”.
Pupils of year groups who are not to attend from Wednesday have been given access to online learning resources along with work books and revision guides..
The Academy’s statement added: “You can expect daily contact from our team who are working tirelessly to ensure that our young people are well supported at this time.
Parents will also be contacted before Monday, March 23 with any further guidance, the school said.

Hide AdThe decision comes a day after the Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a press conference on Monday, March 16 that schools are to remain open.
Members of the public were instead urged to avoid pubs, theatres and restaurants.
