13 photos from the Clap for our Carers at Sunderland Royal Hospital
We’re into the seventh week of lockdown – with many still working on the frontline against the coronavirus pandemic.
As has become tradition at 8pm on Thursday evenings, many took to their doorsteps or windows to applaud the NHS and key workers.
Health and emergency workers also gathered at Sunderland Royal Hospital to join in the applause, while maintaining a safe distance.
Our snapper Frank Reid was there to capture some wonderful images – scroll down and flick through the pages to see them.
