This week saw National Thank a Teacher Day and we’ve been asking our readers to tell us about all the star teachers and support staff in their area.

National Thank a Teacher Day

Lisa Cole: To all of the staff at St Benets Primary School. They have been amazing through the closure, giving students a huge pack of work to complete as well as live lessons.

Micheala Lloyd: To all St Ann School staff, they are doing a fantastic job with the support and wellbeing of all their students home or at school.

Sarah Hornsby: To all the teachers, the head teacher and especially Miss McCloud at Ryhope Infant School. Thank you for all that you do Olivia misses all of you xx

Gemma Hesslewood: I would like to say thank you to all the staff of Seaham High School for all they are doing for our children.

Wendy Teasdale: I’d like to say thank you to Mr Jones from Thornhill, Mrs Wilson and Miss Kendricks for their continued weekly support. It has been very much appreciated.

Michelle Mckinney: All the teachers at St Anne’s Primary School, Sunderland. They are all amazing inside and out, especially the head Mrs Harrison and my son’s teacher Miss Watson, also Miss Craggs. Joe is missing you all, you work so hard and are so dedicated to the children.
