ARTventurers runs classes for babies, toddlers and children across the North East and up and down the rest of the country, focused on encouraging development through art and play.

Classes came to an abrupt halt in March as lockdown restrictions were introduced but now term time classes have restarted meaning more classes, in COVID secure environments, are available for youngsters.

ARTventurers said its franchisees have recently undergone extra training for infection control and a raring to go, excited for what the future holds.

Cherry Emmerson, ARTventurers franchisee for Sunderland West and Washington, said: “All our classes have had a little bit of a makeover to ensure they are Covid safe whilst keeping all the arty fun and with lots of focus on the fantastic process art activities that are what we’re all about at ARTventurers – helping children to learn and develop through art and creative play.

“I can’t wait to see all those little ones that were coming to our classes pre-lockdown, I bet they will have grown so much in six months.”

ARTventurers is also introducing new Baby ARTventures classes for little artists aged 6-18 months and will also be taking part in Sunderland’s virtual halloween hunt, announced earlier this week.
