Washington restaurant Fiume extends Eat Out To Help Out offer for whole of September after August discount sees overwhelming success
Fiume, in Bonemill Lane, Washington, had a packed restaurant every Monday-to-Wednesday throughout August as diners took advantage of the scheme, helping the restaurant recover from months of being closed during the coronavirus lockdown.
Now, the Italian restaurant is extending the offer for another month throughout September as it looks to capitalise on the success of the August.

Hide AdFiume staff say the Eat Out To Help Out offer has brought it a lot of familiar faces but also a lot of new one’s too.
A spokesperson for Fiume said: “After the amazing response we had in August, we decided that it would be beneficial to everyone if we extended the offer. It means that we are busier on days we’d normally be the quietest, and it also means that our customers are able to come and enjoy a delicious meal for a great discounted price which we feel is extremely important during these trying times!
“Our experience with the scheme was overwhelmingly positive. We were full almost every night Monday through Wednesday and there was a great atmosphere about the restaurant.”
Fiume is a premier, authentic Italian restaurant located right beside the river and diners are delighted they are continuing the scheme with bookings coming in thick and fast.
