Centre manager Jerry Hatch said: “We are delighted to be sharing some good news with three great brands heading to Dalton Park this autumn.

“All three brands are very welcome additions to Dalton Park and I know they will be really popular with our guests. The jobs that the new openings will provide is also important for our community.”

A further change for Dalton Park will come next month when Cotton Traders will relocate to a new store in the centre.

The news comes after years of speculation after the building, part of an expansion of Dalton Park, was complete – but Morrisons remained silent on any plans to move into the supermarket site.

Initial information was that the store would create 90 jobs, but Morrisons has now confirmed there will be 150 roles.

The supermarket chain opened a petrol station and kiosk store near the entrance to the retail park in June, raising hopes the firm would open the full-size store on the site, which has sat empty for years.

Caroline Midgley, Acquisition Manager at Costa Coffee said: “We are delighted to be bringing a new Costa Coffee to Dalton Park, the destination has developed a really strong line up of brands.

"With Morrisons now opening in a few month’s time it is great to be playing our part in creating new jobs and a community hub for the area.”
