Summer jobs available at Crimdon Dene Holiday Park as firm looks to hire bar staff, cleaners, lifeguards and sales reps after £100,000 refurb

Operator Parkdean Resorts has announced it is spending more than £115,000 to upgrade accommodation at Crimdon Dene Holiday Park, introducing five new caravans to replace old stock as part of an £80million investment in its business nationwide.

The firm is also investing more than £13million to provide free high-speed Wi-Fi in every caravan and lodge across all 67 of its parks across Great Britain.

Chief executive Steve Richards said: “We’ve made great progress in the last year and our success is down to the passion of our teams in helping to deliver great holiday experiences for our customers.

“We want to build on momentum in 2020, so we’re on the lookout for vibrant people to join our teams at our parks in the North East.”

Crimdon Dene Holiday Park employs more than 90 staff in the summer season is currently hiring for a number of seasonal employees across a wide variety of areas.

A spokesman said: “The roles available include sales, accommodation cleaners, early morning/late night complex cleaners, bar team, chefs, kitchen team, lifeguards and security.

The Parkdean Group has more than 31,000 pitches across its parks with a mix of group-owned hire fleet, touring and camping pitches and owner-occupied pitches, with parks ranging in size from just 129 pitches to 1,934.
