In a not so distant past, grabbing a coffee and sitting in for a bite to eat at your favourite cafe was one of life’s little joys, and now with COVID-19 vaccinations on the rise and cases dropping, a return to some normality may (hopefully) not to be far off.
Cafe’s in Washington are at the heart of the community and we’ve all missed sitting in to get that much needed caffeine boost and local food treat. Here are seven Washington cafe’s we can’t wait to get back to once lockdown is lifted.

. Cafe K9
Cafe K9, in Spout Lane, Concord, relaunched in December 2020, under new management and despite not being allowed to open to customers, it has been operating as a takeaway. 5. Olivia's Coffee House
This family-run coffee house offers a great variety of afternoon teas, meals and deserts, which has seen it become much-loved throughout the community. 6. Maggie's Tea Room and Pizzeria

7. The Hideaway Cafe
