The Sunderland venue was chosen to promote the new release because in the film, following a zombie outbreak, a giant wall of shipping containers is placed around the perimeter of Las Vegas, to contain the infestation within the city walls.

On Saturday, May 22, and Sunday, May 23 a zombie hand will be emerging from the ‘crashed’ pop up container at the front of the site giving out scratch cards,
All you have to do is scratch the card to be in with a chance of winning either a free ice cream from Cafe YOLO or a cone of chips from Downey’s – with hundreds of treats up for grabs.
This week’s activity is not the first time Sunderland has been linked with Netflix: Docu-series Sunderland Til I Die was seen by millions around the world as it followed the trials and tribulations of being a Sunderland AFC fan.
