Elton John performed his one and only Sunderland gig in June this year as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. It was the first all-seated gig at the stadium and was a real trip down memory lane with Elton performing tracks including Guess Why They Call It The Blues, Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Candle in the Wind, Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word.
