Easter opening times for Asda stores in Sunderland as coronavirus measures remain in place

Asda has unveiled its Easter Bank Holiday weekend opening times as the coronavirus continues to impact stores across Sunderland.

The supermarket chain announced a number of changes to opening hours, emergency services priority times and new safety measures to protect staff and customers last month.

And with the Bank Holiday weekend fast approaching, it has confirmed when its branches will be open over the Easter weekend.

Measures in store include purchasing limits of a maximum of three items on certain handwashing and baby milk products, closures of non-essential services, such as rotisserie and pizza counters and limits on the number of customers admitted.

ASDA Sunderland Superstore, Leechmere Road Industrial Estate: Good Friday 8am-8pm; Saturday 8am-8pm; Easter Sunday closed; Easter Monday 8am-8pm.

ASDA Sunderland Portsmouth Road: Good Friday 8am-8pm; Saturday 8am-8pm; Easter Sunday closed; Easter Monday 8am-8pm.

ASDA Ryhope, Ryhope Street South: Good Friday 8am-8pm; Saturday 8am-8pm; Easter Sunday closed; Easter Monday 8am-8pm.
