Ding burger takeaway Sunderland slots set to go on sale
Booking slots for the popular burger takeaway Ding will be released tonight, Tuesday, March 2 on Instagram for the first time as the venture expands to Sunderland.
A burger business set up by a group of friends from Hartlepool has proved popular in the town with takeaway slots selling out in one minute and now the sell-out countdown starts at 7pm tonight for Sunderland
Ding will be operating from the Roker Hotel in Sunderland on Saturday, March 6 and Sunday March 7 but customers will need to book a slot to try the famous ‘mince in a bun.’
The Hartlepool burger business, which operates as a take-away from the Pot House pub on the Headland only launched last October during the pandemic but has proved a hit with customers.
The burger joint uses an online booking portal and Sunderland customers can click a link on their Instagram page from 7pm to choose a date for the weekend ahead and then submit an order from the menu.
Thousands of people log on to get slots which sell out fast – slots sold out within the first minute when they last opened for bookings in Hartlepool.
Ding, who source produce from local butchers and bakers say their Smashed Hit burger which consists of two mustard cooked beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, onion, pickles and smashed sauce is the star of the show and hopes Sunderland also love the dish.
