A new luxury boutique hotel and restaurant is opening on the Northumberland coast.
The Whittling House in Alnmouth is preparing to welcome guests from Monday, May 17 in line with the latest easing of Covid restrictons.
A full and extravagant refit was completed towards the end of October, just days before the second national lockdown put plans for an official opening on pause.
The Whittling House is a joint project between renowned chef and restaurant owner, Richard Sim, who runs the Michelin Guide-featured Potted Lobster in Bamburgh, and Kelso-based entrepreneur, Tom Leslie.
