Sunderland city centre Wetherspoon pub set to reopen with patio for first time following lockdown

The William Jameson pub on Fawcett Street in Sunderland city centre is set to open its patio beer garden on Monday, April 26.

Hide AdIt follows lockdown restrictions easing on Monday, April 12 and will will mark the first time this year that the pub will reopen to customers.
The Wetherspoon pub will be open from 9am to 10pm, Sunday to Thursday, and 9am to 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
Food will be available from 9am to 9pm seven days a week, with a reduced menu offering breakfast, burgers, pizza, deli deals and traditional British classics.

Hide AdTest and trace will be in operation and members of the public will only have access to the pub to enter the outside area and to use the toilet.
Pub manager Wayne Davis commented: “We are looking forward to welcoming our customers and staff back after a long time away.”
