After standing empty for the last five years, Langham Tower on Ryhope Road has now entered a brand new chapter in it’s 132-year-old history.
The Grade II-listed building in Ashbrooke was most recently used as Sunderland High School before it’s closure in 2016 and is now being put to good use as a multi-purpose venue.
The first phase of the project has seen the opening of an upmarket outdoor bar in the grounds of the building with covered spaces, booths and heaters.
The venue will serve a range of cocktails, premium champagnes and draught beers, as well as street food which will be themed.
