Jet2 announces additional flights to holiday destinations from Newcastle Airport this summer to cope with post-lockdown demand
Holiday operator Jet2 has increased the capacity of flights to multiple destinations from Newcastle Airport due to an increased demand.
Jet2 com and Jet2holiays have added more flights and holidays to the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, Portugal, Greece and Turkey as the tourism industry continues to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The increase means thousands of additional seats have gone on sale as the travel operator saw a 1,000% spike in bookings following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s roadmap out of lockdown.
