Saturday, July 4 was a milestone day for hairdressers, pubs and restaurants across England as they reopened to customers for the first time in more than three months.

Thirsty punters headed out to their local for that all-important first pint, while customers queued up outside their barber or hairdresser for a much-needed trim after weeks of lockdown restrictions.
