Holy Island-based Pilgrims Coffee launches nationwide subscription service
Pilgrims Coffee was set up by Victoria and Andrew Mundy in 2006 and has built up a firm following over the years, recently winning a Travellers Choice 2020 award thanks to its customers’ reviews on Trip Advisor.
The accolade, based on consistently positive reviewers on the platform from visitors during 2019, puts the Marygate venue in the top 10% of popular attractions worldwide.
Now, people can enjoy a flavour of the coffee shop and roastery at home with the launch of a new UK-wide coffee subscription service.
The subscription service allows coffee lovers across the country to have a bag of coffee beans – choice of 200gms, 500gms, 800gms and 1kg – delivered to their door every 14, 30 or 60 days. With the beans also being offered ground for any required brewing method.
All coffees are roasted on site and sourced from fairly traded and Rainforest Alliance Certified farms and customers can select from a range of two blends, a single origin and a decaf.
Blends include the Daily Bread – mixing Central and South American beans for a sweet, full-bodied taste – and the Holy Grail, a premium blend comprised of organic coffees sourced from some of the world’s finest growers.
Prices start from £4.95 for a 30-day subscription of 200grams of Daily Bread. Subscriptions can be paused or halted at any point.
