20 Sunderland city centre shops that are open ahead of lockdown easing next month
Many of us won’t have visited the city centre for some time, but shops that are permitted to do so under Government guidelines are open for business.

From Marks & Spencer and Subway to Darke Cycles and Holland & Barrett, we’ve rounded up some of the shops which are open for trade – with more set to reopen on June 1.
For those wishing to shop in the city centre, it’s also worth noting that car parking charges have been suspended by Sunderland City Council.
