14 Sunderland fish and chip shops to try on Good Friday

With the country still in Lockdown, there’s still restrictions to everyday life in place, however, there’s some traditions not even a pandemic can stop – a take away Good Friday fish lot.

It’s the busiest day of the year for most chippies as people partake in the annual Easter tradition, and this year looks set to be no different. Plenty of fish and chip shops will be open across the city, just make sure to adhere to social distancing when queueing.
