Bar Team Member – Washington Arms – Washington, NE38 7AB

The Washington Arms is looking for a permanent bar team member following its reopening.

Prior experience is not necessary but excellent communication skills, being a great team player and able to work under pressure unsupervised are vital.

Salary: National minimum wage

Bar Team Member – Grey Horse – East Boldon, NE36 0SJ

A similar position is available at the Grey Horse pub in East Boldon.

Again, prior experience is not essential but a strong work ethic and understanding of customer needs are important.

Customer Assistant (part-time) – Lidl – Sunderland, SR5 3FF

Lidl is looking for a part-time customer assistant to work at its North Hylton Road store in Sunderland.

Part-time hours are between 10 - 30 hours per-week and ‘as a Customer Assistant at Lidl, no shift is the same and you get out what you put in,’ says the Lidl website.

Salary: £9.30 up to £10.50 per hour depending on experience.

Customer Service Assistant – One Stop (Tesco) – Washington, NE37 2TE

One Stop is looking for two customer service assistants to work at its Washington store.

Job description: “In this role, you will greet and welcome our customers warmly, engaging with them to find out their shopping needs, sell the right products to them and make their shopping experience a great one.”

Yates are looking to break the mould when it comes to who they for their team.

Front of House Staff – The Deli Newbottle – Houghton le Spring, DH4 4EH

Another new job in the hospitality industry is as front of house staff at The Deli Newbottle in Houghton le Spring.

Experience is preferred but not essential with on the job training provided as staff will be required to answer the phone, serve customers, make deserts and prepare side dishes. Applicants must be available to work weekends.

The popular Marine Walk fish & chip restaurant is looking for full-time and part-time staff.
