Local indie rock musician, Jim Dixon, is hoping to raise valuable funds for Chester-Le-Street based charity If You Care Share Foundation, an organisation that provides valuable suicide prevention work as well as supporting those affected by suicide, at a charity fundraiser.

The show is due to take place on Saturday, September 6, at Bede Lodge Social Club, Finchale Road, Framwellgate Moor, Durham. Doors open at 7pm and entry is £6 with all proceeds going to the charity. Attendees can reserve a place prior to the night by emailing [email protected] with payment on the night. Any remaining tickets will be sold on the door on the evening.

The 23 year old from Newton Hall, Durham, only released his debut song at the end of May this year, and has in three months already achieved over 11,000 streams of the two singles that are available to stream, 'To Say So' and 'Stuck In The Moment'. Both tracks, as well as further original material and a handful of cover versions, will be played on the evening, which marks the beginning of some important gigs for Jim, ending with a headline show at The Cluny, Newcastle on 2 November.
