Attack victim left with 'several injuries' after man gets out of car to launch roadside assault

Durham Constabulary has appealed for help after the man assaulted on the B1287 North Road, next to Seaham Hall Beach Car Park.
A force spokesperson said: “It is believed to have happened at around 6am on Monday, July 27, when the victim was walking past Tonia’s Cafe.

Hide Ad“The man was approached by three people in a blue vehicle who pulled up beside him and spoke with him before driving off towards Ryhope.

“Minutes later, the vehicle turned around and drove back towards the victim.
"A ginger-haired man then got out of the car and assaulted the victim leaving him with several injuries.
“Police are now keen to trace the vehicle and its occupants.”
