Like many families, Tony Carr, 36, and his daughter Molly, 10, have been using the video sharing platform to have some fun in lockdown.
But a video in which they recreate the scene when Del Boy falls through the hatch of a bar has struck a chord beyond their friends and family and has been viewed more than 60,000 times and counting after Tony shared the video on Facebook.

“We’ve been watching lots of comedy in lockdown which is how I came up with recreating the Only Fools & Horses scene. We just thought it would make our friends and family laugh and never expected it to take off in the way it has.”
Tony made a makeshift bar hatch, which is lifted in the video by wife Claire, while Tony and Molly don suits similar to those worn by characters Del Boy and Trigger as they attempt to play it cool and impress women in a wine bar.
It’s regarded as one of the greatest comic moments in British TV – and Tony said it took five takes to get it just right.

Tony works in the creative industry at Sunderland-based YNOT, which he runs with business partners Anthony Fenton and Oli Lindley, who all formerly worked at SAFC.
He said: “Tik Tok videos have really taken off in lockdown. I think with all the doom and gloom about at the minute it’s a great way to just have a laugh and lift people’s spirits.”
