A musical ode to the Fab Four will be twisting and shouting into Sunderland – and you could be there for free.

We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to the Help! Golden Anniversary Tour with the Magic of the Beatles when it plays Sunderland Empire on February 6.

The show celebrates the 50th anniversary of hit song Yesterday with an extra-special concert.

The year 1966 saw Lennon and McCartney come of age as songwriters: the Beatles’ 11th EP, Yesterday, and seventh studio album, Revolver, both topped the charts.

Hit stage show The Magic of the Beatles promises to return music fans to this golden era.

Producer Michael Taylor says that the show takes audiences from the Beatles’ mop top roots to the psychedelia of Sgt Pepper and beyond.

“Fantastic costumes, brilliant vocals and incredible musicianship come together in a lavish magical musical trip back to yesterday.”

Michael says that The Magic of the Beatles celebrates the most exciting time in pop music history live and in concert.

“The Magic of the Beatles is the most comprehensive, most authentic Beatles show you’ll ever see – even down to original guitars and amps used by the band,” he said.
