PANTO favourites Danny and Clive are back with a bang.

The pair will be returning to the Theatre Royal stage this Christmas with Jack and the Beanstalk – The Giant Pantomime Spectacular.

Clive Webb and Danny Adams have topped the bill at the theatre’s pantomime for the last eight years, making them popular with families across the North East.

The Theatre Royal pantomimes are famous for being the fastest-selling in the UK and are regarded in the business as putting on one of the best pantos in the country.

Danny and Clive are supported, as always, by Chris Hayward, in his 29th panto appearance, this time as Dame Rita Trot

Michael Harrison, managing director of Qdos Pantomimes and the executive producer of Jack and the Beanstalk, said: “We are thrilled as ever that Clive and Danny, who continue to smash pantomime box office records whenever they perform, will be leading the cast of the Theatre Royal pantomime.

“Their high-energy comedy combined with Chris’s kaleidoscopic wardrobe, a superb cast and brand new 3D special effects mean that no one will dare miss this production of Jack and the Beanstalk. It will be without a doubt one of the most impressive pantomimes ever staged in Newcastle.”

Tickets for Jack and The Beanstalk – The Giant Pantomime Spectacular went on sale at the beginning of November last year to meet the high demand.

Sales have already hit the milestone £1million, one month sooner than last year’s record-breaking pantomime, Aladdin.
