TYNEMOUTH Amateur Operatic Society are building up speed in their rehearsals for their production of Annie.
Meg McGrady and Isobel Patterson are sharing the lead role of Annie during the week, supported by a troupe of 18 orphans, as well as a 30-strong cast that will be in the production.
All is going really well with only six weeks until the show.
Sets are being designed, costumes are coming together but the production has one vital member of the team still to cast – a lovable dog to play the role of Sandy.
Would your four-legged friend suit the bill?
Does he/she have a burning desire to take to the stage?
Is he/she always the centre of attention and have a great calming nature to boot?
Ideally, a well-natured, calm and controlled sandy-coloured dog is needed to attend rehearsals, integrate with the young cast and be able to sit and walk on command.
If you think your dog has what it takes to take on this role contact Stu Davidson, company secretary on 253 1802 for more details.
