A SUNDERLAND footballer’s wife returns to screens tonight in a fly-on-the-wall reality show.
Black Cats defender Wes Brown’s wife Leanne, and mum to his three daughters, returns in the second series of Real Housewives of Cheshire, which follows the cat fights and dramas of a group of friends.
Also appearing in the show is model Tanya Bardsley, wife of former SAFC defender Phil Bardsley.
A spin-off from the American Real Housewives shows, it first aired earlier this year and also stars salon owner Ampika Pickston, interior designer Dawn Ward who is married to ex-footballer Ashley Ward, Lauren Simon who is married to businessman Paul Simon and Magali Gorré, an author who is married to ex-footballer Dean Gorré.
The show proved so popular it returns tonight on ITVBe at 10pm. Entitled Going Off the Rails, the first episode in the new series features Tanya’s birthday party where there’s trouble brewing and rumours flying between the housewives. Dawn and Magali are at loggerheads over an incident on a train and Tanya has heard on the Cheshire grapevine that Ampika has been bad-mouthing her; meanwhile Lauren and Leanne bond over a luxurious spa treatment.
